After a moment, though, her mood suddenly sobers a bit. ] Really, Danny, just...try to keep an open mind, okay? Please?

[ They've argued their stances back and forth for most of their friendship, so she isn't surprised by his skepticism. But if it's true that his spirit power is growing, then he was going to get involved in the supernatural whether he wanted to or not.

And as much as she's wanted him to learn about all of this, she also knows of the dangers that lie within. And she needs him to understand, at least enough that she can warn him of them. ]
