"I know that it's hard to believe. In my own world, demons have never been understood to be anything more than boogeymen that cause evil things to happen, that obey some master liar that corrupts human beings. In all truth, at least on my end, demons don't know a thing about humans and are just doing their own thing in their own world. But if there's one thing I've learned from all the people here, its that there are multiple realities, and they somehow coexist in some way."

She didn't expect to win him over. It wasn't like they'd run into any demon here...and she hadn't met Moxie yet.

"I know one demon though, that's like my little brother. I trust him more than anyone. His name is King, and he's...well, someone I care a lot about."

Which would make her eventual timeline with him so much worse.
