So, uh, can anyone point me to a shelter, maybe? And maybe the nearest temp agency to said shelter?

[After his understandable freaking out had settled a bit, James figured it would be best to take this as a new opportunity. A new city. He could work with that. He just didn't expect to see the Northern Lights. How far up north was he now? He wasn't really sure.]

[But more than that... he was seeing some of the best cosplays he had ever seen. Dog ears that twitched, tails that wagged? He was pretty sure he saw a centaur, too. That's what he told himself, anyway. This was weird and probably a dream. But he was still hungry...]

She hands him a takeout container of warm Spaghetti and a large T-shirt with “I had my entire worldview shattered by the existence of magic and all I got was this shirt” printed on it.]

I was being so literal when I said most magical place on earth, congrats magic is real and you can perceive it now.

Fun fact I used to be a completely normal human. But I think I take to fur quite nicely. Anyways I have a list of various places to stay and what kind of work are you looking for there are so many employers in this city that are used to situations like this.

I'll take anything that's legitimate. And safe. Even if its boring and monotonous. I mean, ideally not, but I'm tired of drifting from job to job.

The Crystal Tower is open to anyone and has no rent, but it can be dangerous in the higher floors. I wouldn't recommend it necessarily as a permanent residence. However, it might be okay if you just need somewhere warm to stay for a little while.

We also have free food. Um, mostly because I cook all the food there. You don't have to live in the Tower, either. I just need to know any allergies and what foods you like/dislike.

I gotta say, I didn't expect to be greeted by the welcome wagon. Your costume looks great by the way. Very impressive from what I can tell!

It is, I agree! We're still working hard to make it more comfortable for people to live in. We recently got a lounge renovated on the main floor for people to relax in.
