Well! Being friends is just as much about your feelings or theirs. Even if you didn't ask they'd decline doing something with you if they didn't enjoy your company, right?

Ask her about her favorite kinds of food or if she's wanting to try something! Ah, but if money's an issue there's always meeting in something like a park or a mall. Just strolling around a place and talking about what you see can be fun.

Well she's like, AMAZING AT ART. Her stuff is so much better than what I do? She makes something called a "webcomic" and I looked online and it's like... a bunch of pictures but they tell a story and it's super cool?? She's also really fashionable and really smart!

[She's got a small girl crush but doesn't know it yet.]

That would be great! We're both really into art and that seems like something she'd like maybe??

But in that case, you have to watch some Studio Ghibli movies. The art in those movies are always top notched. I'd say either Howl's Moving Castle or Spirited Away are good places to start!

If you go to the mall you can look at cute clothes together and have cheap mall food. Sometimes there are community events in malls that are free, too! This time of year... Maybe something for Easter? I hear Americans like egg hunts!
