CW: Eye Gore, reference to aforementioned deaths

[It's ironic, really.

Jonathan found, as he progressed through the last few hours, that it was easier to ignore a sound than it was a sight. With a great amount of mental fortitude, he therefore did what he thought best to preserve that.

And dug each clawed thumb, in the form of a bat, into his eyes.

Were one to open those lids by force in any form or shape, there'd be nothing but a mess there- like this at least though, it only seems as if he's keeping them shut for some reason. At least if one ignores the drying rivers of red coming from under them.

But now he can't see, is the thing.

He can't see Husk, as he walks through the hall. He can't see Edward when the man comes out from the shadows to make his kill. He can only hear-

Hear Husk and some other figure, arguing.

Hear Edward, in his brief peril.

Hear Husk, snarling-
]

Edward? ...Husk..??

[And draw his own conclusions. In his mind, it is not so hard to assume; that the one who was arguing with Husk did something, caused some confusion, caused Edward to do something-

(And the thing about throat and lung injuries is they're so soundless, by their nature. There's no wind to make the sound, just a faint, faint, bubbling-)

Jonathan can't see but he can hear, and it doesn't even occur to him that the voice he hears next might be false.
]

He's going for the others! Quickly!

[No time to question it right? He can ask Edward what he's looking at later, can't he?

Fists of gold crackle with 'flame'. Jonathan, in the form of a man, makes his charge in but a a few quick and easy strides, ducking his head to better rush in the confined space.
]

This ends here, foul beast..!
