He looks shaken, down to his core, like he'd really not expected to walk right into this and then to walk out of it alive again.
When he makes it out, bile rises in his throat as something tightens painfully around his chest, roils in his stomach. When the other two come out he's slumped against the wall, hand over his mouth, having what he thinks is a breakdown and what someone else might realize is a panic attack, and it takes him a moment longer than usual to shake his head and even register that anyone else is outside. He staggers to his feet, swallows the bile back.]
