WHAT: Teresa can be seen snooping around Kaisou at various times. Or maybe she's not snooping and is just, I don't know, doing... Teresa... things? ...Yeah, she's snooping.

A: The Vogue

[Teresa can be found near The Vogue with a program listings pamphlet. She's out of the way of the other people, which might look like a courtesy. However, one can notice that she's got a pen in hand and seems to be marking some things in the pamphlet. Her eyes are intensely focused, occasionally looking up to see the comings and goings of people in and out of The Vogue. After a moment, Teresa will approach the first person who looks like they work here.]

Excuse me. Do you happen to have any recommendations for any of the shows here?

[This sounds like an innocent enough question. Maybe.]

B: The Jackdaw

[On Saturday, Teresa is in a crowd of people touring the Jackdaw. Her sharp eyes take in every detail of the ship. However, there's special attention taken to the areas that are closed to the public. She abruptly asks the tour guide:]

Just how long has the ship been under renovation?

[If not in the tour group, she can definitely be found in the parts of the ship that are supposed to be closed to the public. She's looking around for signs of unusual activity given how suspicious this place is.]

C: Wildcard!

[Perhaps you've run into Teresa on the street or maybe instead she's walked into your establishment to... look around. Totally out of curiosity and nothing nefarious about it!]

[When she sees the woman in the Vogue, however, her skin crawls. This is her safe place, where the people she loves are. There's no way she's going to let Teresa do anything.]

[ he's sweeping the floor of the bar area, so he just SCREAMS 'works here', and he's super used to people approaching him. He takes a moment to stare at the woman before breaking out into one of his very usual smiles, doing his best to not look like a ridiculous seven-foot-tall Frankinstein working as a janitor. ]

Heheh. I'm not sure I'm the best to ask, miss, because my true and honest answer would be ALL of them. The day shows are pretty fun and with plenty of fun stories, where most of the tear-jerkers or darker stories are kept for the nightly crowd.

So it all really depends on what you're into!

[ ...that's. Not a good voice to hear at the vogue. There's something deep in jinwoo's bones that shakes at hearing it--but as ever, his poker face is on in an instant. He's going to slowly shift out of the shadows from where he's watching her, arms crossed, hood down and off his face--so she might actually see his face, for once. ]

...There's plenty of good shows here, but I'm not sure this is the best place for you to hang out, Miss Hawthorne. I'd really advise against it.

[Ash has been good this entire fucking month. He's laid low, he's moved to stay with Zhongli and Venti, he has done nothing that could get him trouble. Not even this is something that would normally get him in trouble! It's literally just him walking to the goddamn corner store because he's half-a-fucking-dog who gets pent up if he doesn't get outside and do something. He's got a cap and a face mask on, not bothering anyone or anything and even taking a longer route to keep anyone off his back and trying to track him back to Venti's place.

Please, for the love of fuck, let this not go poorly.]

Oh, come now, it's not that bad. It's been quite some time indeed since I've seen a ship like this, and no doubt it takes quite a lot of maintenance; we can't all be perfect in our old age, after all.

[Why is he even here.]

[It was an inevitability, wasn't it? That she would make her way here. Diarmuid only recognized Teresa's face from network back reading and his monitoring of the city and intended to keep his distance. But seeing her sneaking into closed areas of the Jackdaw while he was on it as well, he wouldn't stand for that while this was meant to be a safe haven.]

I'm afraid this area is closed, if you are lost I can send you in the right direction with the rest of the tour group. [get the fuck out.]

[Jun was doing his chores on the deck, as per his agreement to staying here. He'd been running a little late this morning, so he hadn't finished by the time the tour groups started coming. He paid it no mind.... until he hears that voice talking to someone else.

He freezes. Shit. What was she doing here? ]

[Teresa raises her eyebrows, but she just as stubbornly refuses to back down.]

How unfortunate. Such an attitude must be bad for business. I'm impressed that you're still employed.

[First things first: Edward races to the cabin to hiss everyone in the teapot now. Then he gets back to the tour group waiting on the dock to smile and laugh and fall right into character: yes, look at the pirate, hear him talk about how ships were made and maintained, about the Caribbean Islands in the 1720s, about the War of Spanish Succession.

And all the while he keeps a close eye on Teresa. He can’t kill her here on the Jackdaw. Too public, too connected to him. When he notices she may gone missing, he hands the group over at some point to some college intern he’d hired to dress up and spout history facts, then makes his way down to the hold.]

Most of it’s water, you know. [His tone is light, but there’s something dangerous lurking underneath. This man ran with Blackbeard. The smile he gives her is the look of a man considering whether to throw her off the ship.] You’re free to sample a bottle if you wish. Though I would’ve liked it if you’d said as much before you wandered off.

[How the fuck is this man so tall??? She's going to chalk him up to being one of the paranormal people around here.]

If you have any mocktails, I would be interested in taking you up on that offer.

[She'll pay for the drink, of course, but she might not tip because she's that kind of bitch. I mean customer.]

I'm more of the adventurous type, but I'll admit to having a fondness for the tragic romances.

[Teresa turns to face Jinwoo and puts a hand on her hip.]

This is a major part of Kaisou's culture and entertainment lately. I'm certain you can understand why I would be interested in checking it out.

[How unfortunate for Ash that this will go poorly! Teresa recognizes him, though not at first. She squints at him for a moment before realization hits. With her mouth set in a firm line, she makes her way over to him.]

It is. And It's a really important part--I got a part-time job here for that reason as well. [ a lie, but. he's taken jobs in Florida before, as well, as subterfuge, so... it isn't an obvious one. ]

The problem is, some of those 'Warriors of Light' work here, and I'm worried they'll have a very ... adverse reaction to you showing up.

[She hums softly at that.]

[Ash stumbles when she says his name, but he's quick to get to his feet. Shit fuck goddamn. Calm. Calm, Cabbot. Just ignore her. Don't speed up, don't react, don't anything. Just pretend you have no idea who she's talking about.

He starts repeating one of Zhongli's more boring stories in his head to try and stay calm. It is. It is an attempt? It's not working super well as Ash's tail, which he struggles to hide on a good day, is low and tucked close to his legs.]

[Damn, busted way too soon. She sizes Diarmuid up for a moment. Yet, she doesn't look like she's going to fight him. This time. No point in stirring the hornet's nest just yet. Not until she's got a better idea of who is actually here.]

Ritsuka saw that one network post, sure, but she's simply not the type capable of borrowing grudges. Or really harboring much if any enmity in general. So, she'll at least answer civility in kind.

[You know, ever since last month there's been a rather beautiful Japanese estate that's popped up and sat nicely against one of the quieter places of Kaisou. Most would think it's always been there- but if you're part of the Libra app, you'd know otherwise. Ayato has moved here relatively recently and is still putting in the finer details of a large and empty space, and so he's been in and out quite often.

Which makes it very easy to associate him with the place, really. An easy target, if Teresa wanted. And really, he knows this- is prepared for it in some ways. But he expects her to corner him midway to his home or possibly intercept him as soon as he leaves. He has no idea how wrong he is on this, and he's going to pay for it.

Like right now, for instance. He and Ei had realized she was close, and rather than have more suspicions by possibly having Teresa put her nose into a place she doesn't belong, Ayato has sent Ei off the grounds and away from here. He can't risk Teresa finding her, and he hurriedly does what he can to make her room look as uninhabited as possible.

So by the time she's walking into the grounds, Ayato has made his way to the entrance and opened the door. Despite the Kamisato Estate grabbing attention of passerby, Teresa is not a welcome sight. He walks down the walkway towards her at a steady pace- not rushed, perfectly calm, and meets her easily enough.]

Hathorne-san, what an unexpected surprise. [His smile edges more into neutral territory, but it's still there. It still says so much even when he doesn't.] My apologies, I didn't take you to be someone without common courtesy in terms of entering private property.

[What are you doing on his estate grounds. He didn't invite you. Leave.]

[Teresa narrows her eyes a little when she sees Jun. While it's possible that he's here to earn some money, it feels out of place for a botanist to be on a ship museum. She finishes her conversation with the guide and then approaches Jun.]

I wasn't expecting to see you here, Olive. Have you been well?

[Smart move. In her sizing him up she'll find his demeanor eerily neutral, but there was certainly an air about that wasn't friendly as well as a strong presence of mana.]

So it is, a relic of an age long passed. One that is easy to lose themselves within, but this is quite far removed from today's path. [He fucking sees you, in other words. He's not stupid. But he gestures in the opposite direction.]

Allow me to lead you away from here.

[Teresa turns to face Edward. She senses the danger, but her stance is relaxed. However, there's a danger in her own eyes. A different kind of danger. This is the look of a woman who doesn't care if she lives or dies.]

Is it, now? [Her tone is polite enough.] I don't recall there being a place to purchase food and drink on the ship.

[Oh. Great. She recognized him. He's internally screaming but he's very glad he's not an expressive person so it doesn't reach his face]

Ah- well, I work here part time for extra cash.

Though I wasn't expecting you here. Teresa, right? Are you interested in historical sites?

Teresa seems to consider the question seriously.

"I'm open-minded to trying various types of shows, quite frankly. I haven't had time to myself to really narrow down what I do and don't like."

Renovations, little lass. I’m planning on including a place, get the galley working and up to code. You know, for authenticity.

[What code? He only recently learned about the FDA. But he needs to get her out of the hold and off the ship, and he needs to do it subtly.]

Anyway, you ought to be getting back to the tour group, aye? I did say it wasn’t safe down here just yet. [His tone is one of friendly admonishment, but his smile doesn’t reach his eyes. I know what you’re doing here, he doesn’t say.]

"Well... I'd say just start watching everything until you find something you like, but that probably wouldn't work so well."

For her part, Ritsuka's definitely being sincere.

"Are there any particular things you like or dislike in general? Like some people don't like tragedies, or romance, or stuff."
