( he probably wouldn't have ever signed himself up for something like this, and he's honestly a bit surprised kni is dragging him along — even if it does stand to reason that two sets of hands are better than one, and so maybe he does kind of owe him for those new scars, but they're not even that bad, you know — but here he is, and here he's going to be for quite a while it looks like. with someone practically barking orders in his ear every couple of seconds.
they've already managed to catch a few, and nicholas likes to think he has good enough eyes and quick enough reflexes, but these little buggers are fast, and it doesn't help that the sound of kni's voice knocks his concentration off-kilter, and at that last outburst of his name he turns huffs in his direction: ) If you'd stop yellin' at me for five seconds, I might be able to catch 'em!
