[ it's hard to discern the facial expressions of a monster made mostly of wings--the golden metal plate that served as the creature's head ... tilts, as Vash is yanked and pulled out of the way, its wing sliding across the floor with a grinding, scraping noise that's almost painful. But it doesn't attack again.
The thing is almost. Confused? By the outburst of Vash's savior. And honestly, so is vash. he'd opened his mouth to yelp out a thank you, but Zulius has taken front and center to tear a strip off the creature made by his reflection and--much like it was still his reflection, both the Plant and the Pile of Wings seem confused by the zebra-man's outburst. ]
It is not an opinion, but a statement of fact. As for where it comes from... You call us your 'Bestie', but do you know the things we've done?
[ there's a ... strange pit forming in Vash's stomach, and yet, he can't. Help but to laugh. Quietly. ]
I don't think I've seen you this angry before. [ he's trying to ignore the words of the creature--for now, but. He gives Zulius a sort of sideways look, a crooked smile. ]
I don't think I'd have the guts to argue with you, myself. But this guy seems pretty determined. [ ...which is terrible for the shadowy pile of feathers, because ... vash already knows. Zulius didn't give a damn what Vash 'did' in the past. Zulius wasn't like that. He ... trusted that about the man. ]
