I have been considering the possibility of a timeline such as that for a while now. Zelretch's magic is well beyond me, so I can only ever examine it in matters of the theoretical. As a mage, I think that I would want to know the truth of a matter that has been irritating me for that long. And I don't think such curiosity is wrong, even if that truth should be painful to hear or come to terms with.
