[ Luisa isn't entirely sure how it ended up like this. But between the fae kidnapping her family and coming face to face with a real live dragon, she's getting a little tired of this fairy tale land.
She had been accompanying the others who had set off to retrieve the head from the Dulahan, and come across the dragon. She didn't know how the others were fairing with getting the head, but she figures she can give them enough time to get the head and get back, if she could distract the dragon.
And sure, she didn't have a lot of experience fighting, but she had managed to defeat all those monsters in her maze, right? And she wasn't aiming to beat the dragon, just keep it occupied for a while until the others could get back. That was surely manageable...right?
Well, she'd been doing all right so far. Mostly it was just a lot of running and avoiding the dragon's claws, and using the Zodiac-issued shield to block its fire. She had a sword as well - also much like when she'd been in her maze - but most of what she was doing was evasive maneuvering, so she wasn't using it all that much.
She's making another dodge as the dragon comes for her, when a familiar voice reaches her ears, and her heart stops. ]
Mirabel...?
[ It's enough of a distraction, as she turns to look for her sister, for the dragon to get much too close. Realizing the mistake too late, Luisa jumps out of the way as the dragon swipes its claws...but not soon enough, and the claws catch her leg and send her careening off to the side. ]
