Depends on what time period you're talking about. When I was born and a child, we were at peace with the neighboring country of Plegia... but as I became older, a war started between the countries.

I fought in that war with our future Exalt, Chrom, and the Shepherds. It recently ended before I arrived here... things seemed to be returning to the peace before.

As for my teleportation, I believe it's fairly fast, but I haven't used it in combat before.
