Re: Ritsuka knew the risks when she sassed Gil

Perhaps that's it--Gilgamesh is going about acting like nothing has changed, and it's allowing Vergil the time he needs to settle into the idea that everything is fine and normal. When it very much isn't, and yet, it felt like it could be.

Life as Normal. Gilgamesh being a fool and getting into trouble because he's so free-spirited and playful, Vergil picking up one of his messes--
And now with Ritsuka playing the easygoing middleman who's decidedly in camp 'yeah, this all is just par for the course.'

Actually insane.

"--You cannot say that for sure. Some of the most serious injuries happen from the most innocuous of accidents, you know." He huffs loudly--sounding a little like a gruff and irate father, at best--his arms crossing over his chest as that doppelganger he'd summoned disappears, letting ritsuka down on her own two feet.

The little korok waves a hand at Ritsuka, the one holding the apple--and cheers, loudly.

It's ... holding out what looks to be a little golden seed.
