He's... halfway glad that both Ritsuka and Gilgamesh aren't overbearing him with asking him if he's okay, and yet giving subtle little motions that they are trying to be gentle with him--(which is still odd to him, but... he's ... trying to accept the idea that it's normal to have people be kind to you without expecting anything in return)--so he's going to do his best to... help with this fool's errand.

He had hoped that his ability to detect and sense magic would let him detect the little creatures--and much to his relief, something is very much pinging his radar when they enter an area that's dotted with thick and thin trees of all sorts of shapes and sizes.

...Not to mention there's a gentle little tinkling sound coming from somewhere above-- it's subtle and soft, and Vergil isn't sure if it's just his demonic level hearing that picks it up, but....
