After finding the correct “cell” and breaking the padlock, the first thing anyone might notice is that Rose is not alone. There’s a rather imposing monster with her in the room. The monster itself is made of shadow, and appears to be focused on Rose. It’s clear that in order to free Rose, the monster must be dealt with first.]
[And the quicker the better. Rose is missing her trademark “enthusiasm.” Instead, she’s curled up in a ball on the far side of the room. It’s clear she’s been crying, and there are several bruises dotting her arms. To anyone listening closely, you might be able to hear her mutter something to the tune of “No,” “It’s not my fault,” and “There’s nothing I could have done.” She’s shaking.]
