Anyway, he sees Vash's face journey and feels a little bad for just kind of dumping all of that on him like that, but it's a heavy topic that he's connected to, and Mikleo can't not talk about his personal involvement... Willow was his mentor, after all.
When Vash touches the water ball, a little bit spins off and splish-splashes like playing with the stream coming out of a faucet. Mikleo doesn't stop him, though. The water droplets that fall onto Vash's arm get sucked right back up into the water ball. He might be getting to the end of this little trick, seeing as the flow of crystals-turning-to-water has slowed to a trickle.]
