Waver was pretty right to get angry about it, in Varian's mind. The poor guy was one of the victims of the Black Order's botched attempt to fix it. He had more right than most. Varian lets out a soft, worried hum.

One of the residents took one to Zodiac- they offered a lot of money for it and he needed it to live, not- he can't really be blamed for being desperate," he could never blame Moxxie for that, "Me and my boyfriend took some to test on- I wanted to try and figure out how they worked and that uh... literally exploded a hole in the Zodiac apartments. Turns out mixing science and magic works out way worse here than where I came from."
Not that it worked out much better for him in Corona. Just. Slightly better.
