Hmmm. Yeah, I've noticed that too. They uh... they seem pretty convinced that they caused the sinking of the city themselves and they're making up for it by going hard the other way. It's for sure not healthy. I'm amazed none of them have cracked.

[Because even though Varian has some tempered modesty from years of deeply disliking himself, he can at least find some pride in his achievements. Not these guys.]
