It's a pretty big problem when you're just about six feet tall and you have a bad habit of mostly looking up, like Vash does. Klutz that he is, Ritsuka won't be the first person he's almost run face-first into, and she probably won't be his last--but he will, at the very least, catch her with both hands with a quick reflex that is almost hard to see--

One moment his hands are at his sides, the next, they're on Ritsuka's shoulders.

"Hey, hey--It's okay, I wasn't watching where I was going." ...Says Vash, who absolutely wasn't face and eyes into a comic.

He's going to grin at her with a wide grin anyway.

"You're pretty focused on your book, too. Must be a good read, huh?"
