And it's at that point that Jun grabs Rean's arm and yanks him back, and safely out of the way of the fog-bear's claws as they slash at the child Rean. Naturally, the child goes flying, not unlike a ragdoll being tossed aside by a bored child, and crumples into a heap in the thick snow.
