[ it was... weird, being openly honest with things. telling the other his age had taken a moment to mentally be okay with just speaking it out into the air. as if it was some great secret, like he was admitting that he was some weird monster, what with how young he looked, despite how long he's lived. he's always joked that he was old, but. being a century and a half is a lot for a human to hear, isn't it?
