Even if she didn’t say anything about it, Isabela could sense that dreadful feeling. All those years of trying too hard to please her Abuela and the town, dealing with unwanted attention and societal pressures, sacrificing her own dreams for the sake of others, and nearly gotten engaged to her cousin’s crush: all of that must have felt very crushing to the soul. To her, seeing Luz in this emotional state was like reliving all those moments again.

But at the same time, Isabela does wish deep down to let her know that she did enough to keep the board members and the CEO in check for if it weren’t her, CEO would have killed her instantly without the invisibility glyph from her.

“Okay, got it: the Owlery shouldn’t be this far away from here,” she quietly speaks as she quickly grabs Luz and Owlbert as she takes all them away from the chaos and out of the board room.

She doesn’t have time to check her surroundings as she could hear spells, attacks, weapon sounds, gun shoots, and wing flapping(?) as she leads Luz out of the room though she does managed to avoid the gun shoots on her way out and towards the elevators.
