"Don't know," Luz gasped as the claws ripped through the vine and narrowly missed crushing Luz's windpipe. "Little more concerned with not getting killed here!"

Because boy, she was TOUGH. She moved much faster than Luz had expected, and knew she'd have a heck of a fight on her hands. She managed to dance back on the staff but the CEO was advancing fast, and now it was a flurry of Luz's quick thinking glyphs against the CEO's obvious brute strength. She even managed to burst through the fire glyph Luz sent her way.

Luz finally stumbled off the staff and Owlbert was on trying to flap away, when the CEO managed to strike the small owl and send it hurtling through the air.

"OWLBERT! NO!"
