WARNINGS: Almost certainly some drinking and swearing, at the very least

Despite any protests, Lillian decided to throw a party to meet her fellow Warriors of Light anyway. She made sure her apartment was relatively tidy, her currently sewing project tucked away neatly in a corner and her giant claymore slid under her bed. The apartment is still pretty sparse, only have the basic furniture plus a hefty punching bag hung in one of the corners-- she may be from here, but she's only been back in town for a little bit.

There's some snacks, and plenty to drink (a more than reasonable portion of it alcohol), so all that remains is for the others to arrive, Lillian greeting every single one of them with a huge smile and wave. "Hi there!!"

[Scintilla showed up carrying copious amounts of food and drinks--let it never be said she was lacking in party etiquette. Whether setting those out or generally mingling around the apartment, she did so with a friend trailing behind her in tiny steps.]

[You know, a normal plus one for a normal party.]

[Lillian doesn't have her full memories yet, but the mini-figure looks familiar anyway. More importantly--]

Ain't he cute? [leaning over and picking up the mammet like a stuffed animal.] Found him while I was walkin' over here.

[Despite all of her protests, Rose does show up. She's not forward thinking enough to bring food or drink, but she does bring herself, and she does dress up for the occasion.]

[Once she's in the apartment, she quickly situates herself near a corner, drink in hand. She isn't going to actively approach anyone, but she isn't going to scare them off, either. At least not once she's one or two drinks in.]

'Hoy. [where the HELL did she come from]

S' plenty of food if you're hungry. [Not like she was one to talk, with a drink in her own hand as well.]

[Rose nods. She didn't see Scintilla approach, but she also doesn't care.]

Of course. But I have to let the alcohol soak in first.

...Not much for parties, huh?

No. I assume that you remember what happened the last time I--the last time you were at a grand affair?

I have no desire to be captured again, nor to be framed for regicide.

Aye, I remember. Wasn't about to fault you for it, to be sure. Just thought a moment's company might be welcome, if you'd like it.

[Rose warms up a little, a tint of flush in her cheeks. The buzz is kicking in.]

Well, I can't say I'm opposed. I must admit, I never thought I would find someone who understood the burdens I've carried. Now there are nearly half a dozen of us.

Bit weird, that. [Not unwelcome, but weird. Her tail swayed as if in thought, narrowly missing the mammet standing behind her coattails.]

Not too much a shock, but weird thinkin' we're all the same but with all manner of details in all different directions. Whereabouts did you come from on Eth--Hydaelyn, if y' don't mind my wonderin'?

[A bit weird is one way to put it, and Rose disagrees. It is far more than a bit weird. But she's too deep to particularly care.]

Hingashi. I was from a village far inland. Back when I was younger, I wanted to be an adventurer, so I stowed away on a merchant ship departing from Kugane.

[She hasn't told anyone that in a while. Or, ever, actually. It's probably fine.]

I tried to hide my identity back home; I didn't want the Empire finding my family. Here, though, it feels a lot safer to talk.

Safer's sure a light way of puttin' it. [She nodded emphatically both in attention and agreement before taking a drink.]

I was a blacksmith 'fore all this- [a vague gesture with her empty hand] -started up. No family to speak of, which's probably clear enough given my name.

Really? Just like that?

[not that she hasn't found weird stuff before-- her sword, for example-- but.]

[Lillian exudes peppy energy, grinning and waving excitedly at Rose.] It's nice to meet you!

Just like that. Figure he must've dropped in same way I did, most likely?

Yes, despite all the trials this world throws at us, I much prefer it to fighting an entire Empire.

[Or traipsing off to the edge of space.]

I see. It must have been quite a shock, then.

[Rose smiles. Is she tipsy enough to go "it's nice to meet you, too" yet? No. But she isn't being outwardly hostile, so progress!]

Ill Advised Drinking Game

[At some point, post some alcohol consumption, Lillian gets what is definitely a brilliant idea.]

Hey! We should play a game or something, to get to know each other better!

[She lifts up a bottle of... something (vodka? gin?), grinning widely.]

How about... we take turns naming people from home, aaaaand if you'd sleep with them you drink!

[this isn't going to be a disaster at all.]

[She tweaks his little arms like he's a doll before backing off.] That's happening a lot more now, isn't it?

I'm Lillian! [in case she hadn't picked that up yet.] How long have you been here? All the rest of you got dragged through a gate, right?

[Rhel, who has totally been here for a while, just groans.]

Oh, not this game.

[Takame, who has also 100% been here for a while, is a little more subdued in his reluctance.

In fact, it took him a long moment just to say anything about it. As if he was wondering if it was his place.]

Is... is that wise?

[Lillian seems to think about it, but comes up blank.]

I mean, if we all do it, we can't be really embarrassed, can we? And we can leave out people who are here, like G'raha.

[leaving out that she's basically incapable of embarrassment.]

[Rose is a voice of reason. Rose is very tipsy. The voice of reason is dead. Chaos reigns in its place.]
