[ The video screen turns on to show an extreme close-up of Tachibana's face. When she pulls back, you can see a pleasant night sky, the month's newest Gate in the background, and in the far background several men with torches standing around talking to each other. And also Tachibana, tied up. And crying.
It seems she turned on the video with her nose.
She hisses a harsh whisper- ] Help me help me help me help me
[ And before anybody even needs to ask, one of the men in the background can be faintly heard- "Hey, how do we sacrifice somebody to the gate, anyway?" ]
I'm too cute to die like this!! [ Still a whisper, but it's a yell-whisper. Please,,, ]
[ B: ACTION. Blue Fish Park ]
[ In person, it's apparent that there's a(n evil) cult around the area, given the dozen or so guys milling about in dark, black robes. Several hold torches. Some of them seem to be standing guard, though they don't seem to be armed. One cultist holds a knife! It's a paring knife.
They turn away anybody who approaches, claiming Super Gas Leak or wild magic, depending on how obviously supernaturally-inclined the approacher is.
Meanwhile, somewhere in the middle of the group, a young(?) girl is flopping around on the ground, tied up and crying. The cultists try to block her from view with their bodies, poorly.
PLEASE. PLEASE RESCUE HER. ]

Meanwhile Mirabel is panicking because oh god is this gonna be the decapitated human head thing that was in her uncle's vision. She whispers into her phone:]
I'll come get you.
[She's grabbing her coat - she thinks she knows where she is.]

[ thankfully the cultists are just, like, ordinary dudes.... which is still too much for Tachibana to handle ]

That is, until he's stand atop the gate itself. His golden wings are out, spread wide, to really play up the paranormal stuff. When he speaks, he makes his voice sound lower and booming to try to obscure it further as he calls out to the cultists below]
Halt. You stand to desecrate these sacred grounds with your heathenry.

Meanwhile the cultists simply gawk and stammer, before the one with the (paring) knife drops to his knees. "Oh mighty god!" Somebody besides him mutters "Sure that ain't an angel?" and another pipes in "I thought we were trying to get demons!" But the first guy carries on "We mean no disrespect! Look, we have brought you... a sacrifice!"
Tachibana's expression hasn't changed. ] I'd make a terrible sacrifice.

SILENCE! You insult my lord with your pathetic tribute! Release the girl and leave these sacred grounds at once, or it'll be your blood that'll be spilled!

Squeezing one eye shut as she aims, Pasqualo throws a Pokéball toward the gates, unleashing a mysterious creature into the shadows, a weird dog that's apparently called an Absol, and one of Pasqualo's most prized friends here: Ham. The Absol lurks in the shadows until it creeps into position by the gates, then...
Pasqualo raises her hands, drawing away the light their torches are emitting back toward Ham, then twisting it so that the light becomes wings of aurora that frame the Pokémon. On cue, Ham howls forlornly, one of the few skills the Absol retained after the de-powering.
Hopefully, that's a good enough distraction for Pasqualo to sneak toward Tachibana.]

The cut man, knees shaking, raises a hand as if asking a question in a classroom. "Erm, well, we can certainly release this sacrifice! But would you mind telling us what you - er, your Lord- would prefer in a sacrifice if not a cute virgin girl?"
Tachibana is watching with an expression turning from its former complicated expression to just I was kidnapped by these guys? Am I that pathetic? ]

But also the cultists! ...Probably not in the way Pasqualo intended. Since they are now stepping towards Ham, bowing, kneeling, and overall worshipping.
"You have come for us!" one of them intones as he bows. "My Lord, we have brought you... a worthy sacrifice!"
One of them grabs Tachibana by the ropes, though he hasn't notice Pasqualo approaching because these cultists are incompetent. He pauses, though, turning his head towards Ham. "Would you prefer we kill her now, or would you like to eat her like this?" ]
Please don't eat me at all!!

Sacrifice your wealth. Give all that you don't need to survive to those downtrodden. Do that, and my lord might let you live a full life.

Another one pulls back his ominous hood, revealing the face of Just Some Middle-Aged Guy. "If I knew this would cost money I wouldn't have come."
"Yeah!" another one pipes up. "Nobody said we'd have to be actually giving anything up!"
A bunch of the men are throwing off their cloaks and storming off. Mission.... accomplished?
Tachibana isn't sure how she should be acting here. So she just continues to be tied up. ]

[He watches as they storm off, leaving Tachibana behind. Once he's sure they're gone, he'll jump of the gate and fly down to her, dropping the booming voice]
