Oh, emotes or emoji? I think they're just to make expressing yourself easier on these programs, what with it being hard to tell tone and whatnot unless you use voice recordings. [Like Rhel.] The one you posted is of boba! Or bubble tea.

[Video is fine, though it does catch Thanatos looking a little bit ruffled. Could it be that he just woke up? There's something a bit off-kilter about him for a moment before he pushes a hand through his hair and straightens himself up. The apartment behind him is... drab, for lack of a better word.

[So, Thanatos is old but he is by no means stupid. He does manage to understand what Nox is trying to tell him here... even if he still doesn't really see the use in it. But this is a more advanced world than the kind he's used to, and language will develop over time... why not to include things like that? Humans really are interesting.

So, after a couple of minutes of consideration, he decides on a wry response.]

[Someone using that name would of course draw his attention immediately and Thanatos feels something tighten in his chest. Naturally, by now, he has heard about this... that some version of his twin brother is about in Kaisou with little memory of who and what he is, but he has not yet been able to decide how to approach the situation and as with most things where it would cause him emotional difficult to deal with it... he has been avoiding it.

And inevitably, the problem has come to him anyway.]

Oh, yes. They're rather chewy and so maybe not for everyone, but I've gotten to like them.

You don't have to chew the pearls. You can drink the tea and it's perfectly fine on it's own.
