since its p fucking obvious
heres a friendly reminder that the warehouse is open for fight club
and i know some of you assholes do better when you duke it out

ofc its also open to help train people in self defense and shit too but
i know tempers are high bc of a CERTAIN someone
so heres an alternative instead of yelling your heads off and stressing everyone else the fuck out
im gonna be around for several hours and can meet people here if they wanna come at some time other than today
even if you just wanna come chill and punch shit or do stress yoga or whatever
its p much open for anyone

[To say he'd been stressed was putting it very, very mildly. Caster not being...well, Caster was an honest relief, but that did only so much to mitigate several other sources of immediate and crushing stress.]

[All that to say, he felt better making himself passably useful. If everyone else venting their frustrations resulted in needing a healer, he could certainly do that much. And while not remotely equipped for a hand to hand fight, he took up some space leaning against a wall and observing in relative silence.]

[And then there was Scintilla, who practically zoomed right over at the words 'fight club'. Dressed in dark red clothes that were easy enough to move in, she showed up looking more than a little eager and pulling gloves over very sharp nails (for safety, you see,). Ears twitching excitedly, she said:]

I ain't too skilled in unarmed fightin', but I can throw a good punch or two when the situation needs.

(Honestly the loss of a cousin, Luisa going through her first full moon change, and that texting match with Moxxie has gotten Isabela very stressed out this month. She really needs a way to get all of it out of her system before it gets out of hand.

She arrives at the place, wearing comfortable clothes that can allow her to move around and tugging on her gloves, which is also there besides preventing callouses.)

[Between Moxxie's blunder, a servant appearing and his own self doubt in other situations, Takame naturally made his way to this fight club. It didn't occur to him to bring his Gunblade, his own body made the best weapon here. His first step into Eorzea was with naught more than a pair of hora after all.

Still, this was just as much a chance to prevent him from shirking his training as it was to let his anger out. So here he was, athletically clothed with gloves made for punching.]

[Amongst the fight club attendants, a figure shrouded in white stands among them. He didn't bring any of his weapons with him, from the look of it. And honestly now that he's not standing on the rooftops- he's rather short compared to many of the other attendees, standing no more than around 5'4" or so (the heels add an inch).

He'll stand and observe the other fighters quietly, his arms crossed around his chest. He's more than happy to spar anyone though]

[Jun is well over a foot shorter than Takame, but something like that is hardly going to detract him. He'll approach the man, looking up at him. He speaks in a modulated voice, disguising his identity]

You. [When approached by Jun in that attire, there's an instant air of hostility from Takame. Last he saw the Shroud it was in the nest of demons he fought through during his first month here.

While it's been some time since then and he was fairly sure there nothing else slipped through he wouldn't exactly have a sense of sportsmanship with this person. Rather, his words came out as a threat.]

How did you get here?

[Jun meanwhile is confused by the sudden hostility. He has no memory of encountering this man while in his uniform. And outside the shroud when this man would come to jun's work for coffee, he always seemed polite enough. So why the hostility now?]

[Why be polite against an assumed threat who's also sassing him? Cause yes that response just pissed him off.]

[Unfortunately for everyone, Jun had been a bit too busy being kidnapped and then stabbed during that time to actually learn the name of the Qilphoth. So he's just furthered confused as Takame talks. ]

Out of the Qliphoth? I don't know what you mean.

The Gate. From October. [Where Takame assumed he came from. He didn't trust that Jun was telling the truth, partially because he couldn't read him. He couldn't check for expressions or tells so his guard was still up.]

[It wasn't a good month to remember. Takame noted the back step. A small but telling gesture. Someone who had ill intent wouldn't have sacrificed the proverbial high ground. While outnumbered no less.

Takame didn't completely lower his guard, but his tone carried less hostility.]

Still, Takame did give a light bow. He wasn't above admitting he was wrong.]
